As a Lead Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and driving the strategy for assigned commodities across multiple sites to meet cost, cash, fulfilment, quality and inventory objectives, with a high focus on new product introductions.

As a Lead Sourcing/Procurement Specialist , you will be responsible for:

• Leading Sourcing activities for New product introduction, driving supplier strategy for materials, working closely with technology, GSC, commodity and Project management teams to identify and enable most effective suppliers to meet quality, lead time, inventory and margin expectations

• Driving sole source mitigation activities through the new product introduction process to mitigate supply risks

• Supporting Purchasing team with handover of materials and suppliers when new products are launched and into mainstream production

• Meeting cost out targets via supplier negotiations, alternate supplier development and/or shifting to best cost country suppliers for assigned commodities; develop strategic relationships with global suppliers and commodity teams

• Supporting business objectives such as carbon reduction, supplier diversity and cash improvements

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have Min 3 years of sourcing/materials experience

• Have strong negotiation and contract management skills, with excellent prioritisation and organizational skills

• Member or working towards membership of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply or APICS

• Have strong customer focus and desire for first time issue resolution

• Have experience using SAP or similar ERP and working knowledge of MS office systems
