About the job

Our Team:

The Autoinjector Maintenance team provide technical support, maintenance and troubleshooting of high volume, highly automated manufacturing lines used for the assembly, labelling and packaging of autoinjector combination devices. You will work as part of a highly focused and integrated maintenance and engineering team in the pen hall, a controlled non classified (CNC) area within Sanofi Waterford.

Main responsibilities:

• To carry out breakdown repair and preventative maintenance of all process equipment to achieve an acceptable level of output and yield in full compliance with Quality, Safety and GMP requirements.
• To ensure correct and accurate communication of equipment issues/PMs/repairs including reporting of serious downtime to area team leader.
• Input of breakdown and maintenance data into the Maintenance PM System Infor.
• Generation and ownership of new equipment asset registrations.
• Execution of preventative maintenance activities for new and existing equipment. 
• Liaise with equipment vendors to define maintenance schedules and spare parts lists.
• Support new equipment URS’s, Design reviews, FAT’s, SAT’s and all qualifications
• May be required to train others on equipment, maintenance tasks, set up procedures and safety awareness.
• Complete all duties as per relevant SOP’s.
• Adhere to all relevant dress requirements with respect to GMP and PPE rules.
• Conduct all maintenance duties in a safe manner and report all safety issues or concerns.

About you

• Junior & Senior Trade’s Certificate or an equivalent third level qualification
• Previous experience working as a maintenance, process, or automation technician in a high-volume automated manufacturing environment
