Job Description - Planner/Scheduler

Planner/Scheduler

This position is responsible for the Tech Ops planning, scheduling, tracking, and control of its functions

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement planning, reporting and analytical tools for the Tech Ops organisation

Chairing weekly planning & scheduling focused meetings

Ability to track and control and report out accurately plan vs actual

Comply with all current IOPS cGxP's (e.g. Good Manufacturing Processes, Good Documentation Practices etc.)

Always maintain inspection readiness

Create clear and tangible work plans to enable technician execution

Interaction with our CMMS system having the ability to group and sort large data sets into executable packages of work

Ability to level load and resource planned work-fronts

Highlight schedule issues and constraints and propose potential mitigations

Ability to roll-up and summaries detailed schedules — tailor for a specific audience

Establish KPIs and routinely track and report for the specific function you are working in

Engagement and interaction with cross-functional groups for schedule development and forward planning

Chairing schedule workshops where required and conduct schedule scenarios

Liaising with Manufacturing and Maintenance scheduling colleagues to agree on handover dates, windows of availability and access

Lead by example. Share knowledge and experience within your team — operate with a one LOPS mindset

Produce micro-schedules / high level timelines to focus on the delivery of different aspects within a certain project

May maintain the physical condition and environment of all areas and equipment. Maintain Safe, Clean, and Compliant (SCC) standards

Adhere to and remain current in assigned IOPS plant and department SOPs and required trainings as related to positional and department responsibilities; maintain an up-to-date training file to ensure compliance

Education and Experience:

BS/BA in engineering or scientific related field or relevant trade qualification along with 5+ years of experience in a similar position

Proficient knowledge & use with the Microsoft Suite of Software Packages inclusive of MS Project

Knowledge & experience with Oracle Primavera
