Description:

Column Packing Scheduler - Days role 

Job summary:

• Client is seeking a "scheduler" for column packing operations across multiple suites. 
  
• Scheduler would support column packing operations across three manufacturing suites, interacting with two shift teams to ensure proper scheduling of production activities.
  
• Maintenance of overall long term MPC schedule and ensuring raw material ordering.
  

Job responsibilities:

• Maintain the column packing schedule to reflect changes in MPC (production schedule), NPI additions and production data from columns in use to ensure no delay in production schedule.

• Maintain the long-term column packing schedule based latest MPC (1 to 20 months).

• Update the data for each column in production use to reflect the resin lifetime.

• Interaction with planning team / track deliveries to ensure sufficient chromatography resin stock to support ongoing activities.

• Planning of daily activities to support col packing activities.

• Coordinating interactions with Warehouse for support of ongoing activities.

• Run weekly multi-disciplinary meeting so coordinate/communicate activities for column packing.

• Be the Col packing point of contact for NPI activities.

• Coordinate Maintenance requests affecting column packing schedule.

Requirements

• Ideally looking for relevant experience but would consider a graduate if they had the right mentality/work ethic. 
• Days role - Onsite role to support column packing operations. 
• Current structure is two areas of production on two separate shifts. 
• The new scheduler would be a day-based role to support ongoing operations. 
• They would report into the Column Packing Team Lead. 
• The role would be based onsite in admin, and would support both suite 1&2 and Suite 3.
