Senior Quality Technician

Our client, a  global healthcare company is currently recruiting for a Senior Quality Technician to join their diverse Aseptic Quality team in Westport, Co. Mayo on a 12 month fixed term contract . 

This is a shift based role, requiring the successful Senior Quality Technician to work 12 hour rotational shift to support their 24/7 manufacturing areas. 

Responsibilities (full job description available on request):

• Act as the site Subject Matter Expert for Aseptic Operations, providing guidance and support to the shift team.

• Ensure adherence to aseptic procedures and techniques during manufacturing, sampling, and testing activities.

• Provide real-time feedback and coaching to shift team members on aseptic performance.

• Support training activities and mentor colleagues working in cleanrooms.

• Provide quality oversight during critical aseptic activities such as cleaning, sanitization, setup, and testing.

• Participate in and lead continuous improvement initiatives within the Aseptics team.

• Provide input and guidance on changes related to aseptic manufacturing, sampling, and testing procedures.

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Site Contamination Control Strategy.

• Provide key input to the assessment of Environmental Monitoring (EM) data and trends.

Requirements:

• Third Level Degree in a Science, Quality or Engineering discipline.

• 5+ Years of experience in a GMP Environment with 3+ years of experience in support of Aseptic Manufacturing ideally.

• Strong knowledge of Regulatory Requirements.

• Excellent communication skills.
