Description of business unit

Deliver and handle all Business Account opening fulfilment requirements for a portfolio(s) of relationship-managed customers of Business Banking/Corporate Bank- in accordance with agreed Service Level Agreements, and, in conjunction with the Relationship Manager and Operations management, drive continuous improvement in performance both within the assigned customer portfolio(s) and across the portfolio of Business Banking relationship managed customers!

Purpose of the Role

The BBCS Admin will be responsible for the delivery of excellent service and support to Relationship Managers and their business customers. The role is suited to experienced Service staff, or those with strong, recent experience in customer facing roles who enjoy multi-tasking and problem-solving and who are results and customer-focused.

Key Accountabilities

Commercial Customer Account Opening

  • Primary point of contact for Business Banking customers on all account opening and related services.
  • Maintain effective and proactive liaison with customers regarding service requests received.
  • Take ownership of urgent applications at the request of S/BM in the timely and effective resolution of same.
  • Continually supervise, progress, and as vital, escalate the resolution of outstanding fulfilment in conjunction with relevant business units and areas, in line with agreed Service Frameworks, proposing solutions and workarounds as the need arises.
  • Drive and sustain a cycle of ongoing improvement in service, taking on specific responsibility for individual service or change initiatives, as the need arises.

  • Experience in Business Banking/Corporate or related area with customer interface crucial
  • Guide level experience with branch desktop applications
  • KYC experience
