Conference Project Manager

Specialising in association conferences, this dynamic PCO has handled some of the largest conferences held in Ireland and is dedicated to the continuous personal and professional development of its team.

They now require an seasoned Conference Project Manager with at least three years’ experience in the project management of complex national and international association conferences. Candidates must demonstrate thorough knowledge of, and enthusiasm for, the meetings and events industry including venue specifications, social event and tour options, and extensive supplier contacts. Third level qualification in hospitality and/or event management is an advantage but not essential.

Key skills required include:

• Ability to build and maintain excellent relations with clients, suppliers and colleagues.
• Strong financial management skills including experience managing conference budgets and negotiating contracts.
• Event marketing skills – working with graphic designers on digital, email and social media campaigns. Knowledge of Adobe In-Design or Photoshop an advantage.
• Strong leadership skills along with evidence of leading and motivating project teams in a PCO environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills along with good office admin skills.
• Knowledge and experience of working with hybrid conference platforms is a distinct advantage. Experience of Aventri Software and/or WordPress also an advantage.

This is a full-time role, with the possibility of hybrid options upon completion of probationary period. Further benefits include:
