CONTENT WRITER

Our client, an Educational Institution is looking to hire a content writer on a full time temporary contract until 30 th September.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Magazine and Online Publishing Platform:

Content development, design and communications of the publications and platform, including social media.

· Accommodation Communications: Design, create content to support the

Accommodation Taskforce accommodation messages and support Head of Content in the managing of the University Accommodation Campaign as agreed by the Taskforce.

· Content Development:

1. Create high-quality, diverse, and engaging content for various channels, including videos, social media assets, newsletters, short form copy, infographics and website content with the aim of highlighting the university's achievements, research stories and events.

2. Manage and update content on the university's platform for research impact and insights, Magazine and web pages – ensuring accuracy, relevance and adherence to brand guidelines.

3. Develop and execute social media campaigns to increase engagement and followership across all social platforms. Monitor social media channels for trends and analyse performance insights.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Bachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism, Marketing or equivalent (Level 8 NFQ or equivalent)

· Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· A minimum of two years of demonstrable experience in content creation.

· Strong portfolio showcasing content creation skills across multiple media platforms.

· Demonstrate knowledge of content management systems (CMS) and social media management tools, as well as a familiarity with SEO and analytical tools

· Demonstrate knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint
