Job Description - Digital Operations Marketing Manager

Role overview:

The Digital Operations Marketing Manager will be responsible for leadership and brand execution in the owned media space for Irish success story WaterWipes. Aligned to our business strategy and key media principles, the owned media strategy is an important pillar that encompasses website UX & UI, social media, SEO, CRM and media measurement.

Being a line manager to two digital specialists and a core member of the Global Media Team alongside the wider global and regional marketing teams, this role is both strategic and tactical, and play an important role in our ambitious growth strategy.

Role deliverables:

  • Build upon and further develop our Owned Media Strategy, setting both short and long term goals, to deliver against our marketing strategy
  • Manage global agency partners to drive performance for owned channel – websites, social media platforms and CRM, including managing contracts, negotiating costs and terms, and reviewing their capabilities / performance and onboarding new agencies when required.
  • Develop and lead the SEO strategy across all global websites, leading the SEO (Technical and Content) agenda to improve SERP and websites visibility.
  • Lead website development agency, managing strategy, planning and execution for all UX and UI projects
  • Good understanding of user journey mapping and driving organic traffic to site.
  • Stay on top of relevant laws, regulations and tech changes and identify opportunities to implement necessary changes proactively.
  • Work as a digital project manager for business-critical projects. This includes brief creation and responsibility for UAT & QA process.
  • Set data measurement roadmap for owned media and other media touch points where possible, and validate data (Social, PPC, CRM, Website etc). Centralise digital performance and manage internal reporting system.
  • Analyse, draw insights and recommend next steps for Global campaigns and business critical projects to maximise impact, also play a key role in our A/B testing programme.
  • Implement and manage digital governance process - ownership management of multiple social media accounts (Meta Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google Ads) and domains.
  • Manage our CRM database, ensuring good data integrity and health.
  • Identify new marketing tools and plugins that help us reach our business goals, sourcing best-fit software vendors.
  • Support internal and external teams by providing data for strategy planning activities, including econometric agency.
  • Facilitate induction, workshops and training sessions to educate internal and external stakeholders on MarTech stack, Website and CRM.
  • Manage Owned Media team to deliver best in class media digital performance and measurement.
  • Budget responsibility and management, delivering value against this brand investment.

About you

  • MSc/BSc in Digital and/or Marketing, or related field.
  • 7+ years' experience in digital strategies with strong Technical and Content SEO management experience.
  • Experience delivering KPIs, measurable output and financial results.
  • Hands-on, proactive with a “can-do” attitude.
  • Excellent communications skills to communicate complex data and insights.
  • Ability to juggle multiple workstreams at once, ensuring prioritisation and a bigger picture mentality.
  • Experience with driving external stakeholder excellence.
  • A keen eye for detail and a focus on executional excellence.
  • Possess passion for Digital Marketing and related technologies.
  • Problem solving skills. Think about all things we have available and offer, sometimes, unique ways to resolve issues.
  • Good understanding of Content Management systems, reporting tools including Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and others, Email Marketing and relevant tools (Marketing Cloud), as well as any other MarTech tools.
  • Previous experience in managing teams.
