Location: Dublin, Ireland (Office-based or Hybrid)

Position Summary:

The Director of Demand Generation plays a critical role in the global Go-To-Market (GTM) team, responsible for the development of global, multi-channel programs that drive engagement, demand, and business growth that includes revenue and product consumption. Working in partnership with sales leaders, field marketing, and other key stakeholders, you are responsible for creating a demand gen strategy that accelerates pipeline growth, including product expansion, new logos, and upsell/cross-sell in SMB, Mid-market, and Enterprise accounts. You must be a hands-on leader, passionate about using data to inform strategy. Reporting to the head of global GTM, you are also responsible for managing and growing a team of B2B demand generation managers, while working in partnership with field marketing, paid media, and digital marketing teams.

Responsibilities include:

  • Use best-in-class strategies to generate demand throughout the funnel (awareness to loyalty) in multiple market segments, including SMB and Enterprise, and in alignment with Field Marketing to execute across Americas, EMEA, and APAC.
  • Drive pipeline growth that includes new logo acquisition, cross-sell/upsell opportunities, renewals, and account expansion/product consumption.
  • Own omnichannel campaign planning that targets key audience segments and is deployed to drive full-funnel engagement using a channel mix that includes SEM, paid social, virtual events, email nurturing, third-party lead gen programs, and others as required.
  • Partner and build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to generate awareness and pipeline growth for industry solutions and products.
  • Collaborate with Product and Industry Marketing teams to develop and lead a quarterly global campaign planning process including strategy, audience, and message targeting, while ensuring alignment with sales goals and budget/resource allocation.
  • Establish and report on KPIs and metrics for demand generation initiatives in alignment with Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to understand lead quality and take a data-driven approach to adjust campaigns for optimum performance and lead quality.
  • Analyze campaign performance, including lead flow, pipeline health trajectory, and overall ROI, and provide insights for continuous improvement with support from the Optimization and Data teams.

Requirements:

  • Proven success in building and scaling a global demand generation function in the B2B Tech/ SaaS industry.
  • 7+ years experience in a global demand generation leadership role with demonstrated ability to work effectively across sales, marketing, and product teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on team leader with the capability to execute and guide a team at the tactical level, while also having the ability to plan, develop, and successfully communicate a multi-year demand gen strategy.
  • Critical thinker with strong analytical skills and a passion for using data to make decisions and optimize campaign performance.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, and comfortable communicating with and presenting to executive leadership.
  • Well-versed in effective demand-generation tactics across channels.
  • Strong business acumen with a proven ability to craft demand-generation strategies that are in alignment with product roadmaps and marketing and sales strategies.
  • Experience with Salesforce (SFDC) preferred.
