Financial Controller – City West – Saas business - €80,000 plus bonus & benefits

Every so often in terms of finance roles, ‘the one’ comes on to the market and this is it! 

This VC backed software company is on a roll. About to open in the US, acquisitions in the pipeline, an experienced team to lead, part of the Senior Leadership team. This role has it all.

Reporting to the CFO/COO

Responsibilities

• Managing an experienced team of four
• Oversee the strategic financial management of the business across Ireland & the UK
• Day to day responsibility for cashflow, financial management, reporting deadlines
• Improve processes, controls & compliance where possible
• Present accurate overview of P&L across departments, projects & market sectors
• Analysing profitability, forecasting and providing commentary to allow informed business decisions
• Responsible for banking, cashflow projections, credit control, reconciliations and FX
• Act as business partner to shareholders, the board, department heads
• Manage the audit, drive the budget process, ensure VAT, CRO etc submissions are delivered accurately and on time
• Assist with the new projects including acquisitions & the opening of a new office in the US

Requirements

• Qualified accountant ideally coming from an audit trained background
• Previous staff management experience would be ideal
• Proven commercial acumen, this is a key role where your expertise will be called upon to make key business decisions
• Revenue recognition experience would be desirable
• Results driven, strong communication, highly motivated, respectful

Remuneration

• Up to €85,000 depending on experience plus bonus, pension and health insurance
