Job Description - Inside Sales Account Representative

  • Generate net-new logos and grow existing business in partnership with our International Business Development Rep(s).
  • Identify key target accounts, build outreach plans, and manage prospect sales cycles from demand generation via the EnergyCAP sales process through contract execution.
  • Collaborate with Project Management Office to develop detailed scopes of work.
  • Perform deep discovery and software demonstrations online and in person.
  • Assist with and execute on outbound prospecting campaigns in concert with Marketing.
  • Collaborate with Business Development Representatives on lead qualification and actively manage inbound leads in a timely manner.
  • Draft and respond to sales proposals and RFPs.
  • Document customer interactions using our CRM system.
  • Handle numerous concurrent sales leads.
  • Represent the Company at trade shows and expos.
  • Manage the regional sales pipeline and present a corresponding weekly forecast.
  • Effectively manage a six to ten-month sales cycle to successful closure
  • Achieve annual and quarterly sales targets.
  • Represent the company and accurately communicate our value proposition in relation to the customers problems.
  • Understand business processes and how clients will benefit from EnergyCAP.
  • Maintain a high level of technical knowledge regarding software functionality and the overall EnergyCAP solution and value proposition.
  • Relay customer insights and feedback internally to help improve the EnergyCAP solution.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
  • Demonstrated, documented over-achievement against quota.
  • Experience successfully executing a formalized sales process like Challenger, GAP, MEDDPIC, Sandler or Miller Heiman
  • Proven business-to-business experience
  • Minimum 3 years of total Software sales experience
  • Strong in-person and video-based presentation skills
  • Natural problem diagnosis and problem-solving talent with proven project and time management skills
  • Experience responding to formal RFP’s.
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Webinar applications
  • CRM software, preferably Salesforce.com
  • Utilize existing professional network to acceleration sales cycles and close ratios.
  • Clear understanding of GDPR compliance requirements.
  • Experience prospecting for new business via GDPR-compliant channels (live events, reference selling, partners, social selling, etc.)
