Overview
My client is a leading media owner representing a number of digital properties. They currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to manage their Media Agency Partners.
The purpose of this role is to provide strategic partnership solutions and manage all resources to ensure the Clients marketing needs are met from briefing to implementation and reporting. This role is to be the trusted advisor to your Agency clients, you will need to understand and articulate the client business insights and leverages to contribute to lead the business and support all marketing activities across digital platforms.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be self motivated and has a strong background in sales (min 3 years +) and business development within the digital publishing industry. As this is a role focusing on relationships with agency partners and brands a good understanding of this market and key players is important. We are looking for a skilled digital candidate in digital partnership advertising and digital production sales capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to deliver on targets and growth.
Responsibility & Accountability
Client Relationships - attending and meeting with your clients to distil key information to build a strong solutions for their marketing plans and strategy. Work with wider teams to deliver these plans within budget and be confident in media strategy and execution.
Partner with all internal stakeholders to deliver the best campaigns to meet the plans and be the internal client who can answer all questions around the brief and oversee the strategy as it evolves.
Externally attend and stay informed of all media updates and industry trends.
You need to be an expert in digital and digital solutions sales - podcasts, video, content etc. You will be comfortable presenting confidently and openly with your clients on all areas of the plan.

Salary from 55K DOE + benefits + bonus
