Senior Graphic Designer

We are currently working for an Irish company within the beauty industry who are looking to add a Senior Graphic Designer to their team.

This role will encompass a mix of packaging design (40% of the role), whilst also working closely with the wider Marketing team on campaign creation.

As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity of our brand and products. You will be responsible for creating captivating campaigns, designing packaging, crafting engaging web experiences and ensuring cohesive brand design across all touchpoints. The ideal candidate is not only a master of design principles but also possesses a deep understanding of beauty industry trends and consumer preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Campaign Creation:  Conceptualise and execute compelling visual campaigns that effectively communicate our brand's message and values. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop creative concepts for product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns. Produce assets for various channels including digital advertising, social media, email marketing, and print collateral.
• Packaging Design: Design innovative and eye-catching packaging solutions that differentiate our products in a competitive market. Ensure packaging designs are both aesthetically pleasing and functional, adhering to industry regulations and requirements. Work closely with cross-functional teams including product development and manufacturing to bring packaging designs from concept to production.
• Web Design:  Develop visually stunning and user-friendly websites that enhance the online shopping experience for our customers. Collaborate with UX/UI designers and developers to create seamless website interfaces that drive engagement and conversion. Optimize web graphics and assets for performance and responsiveness across various devices and platforms.
• Brand Design: Maintain and evolve our brand identity, ensuring consistency across all brand touchpoints. Manage brand guidelines and assets that reflect our brand's personality, values, and positioning. Translate brand strategy into impactful visual elements, including logos, typography, colour schemes and imagery.

?ualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on beauty, fashion, or lifestyle brands preferred.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects including campaigns, packaging, web design, and brand identity.
• Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and composition.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams
