Architect – Nursing Home Projects €45,000 - €55,000 Permanent Dublin Job Description * Selecting appropriate locations for new construction projects to take place * Drawing up detailed plans that meet the local council’s Building Regulations and requirements for Planning Permission * Presenting detailed schematics, plans and budgets to Project Managers, investors or other key stakeholders * Designing new buildings that are energy efficient and meet environmental standards and regulations * Designing projects to preserve local environmental concerns, such as local wildlife habitats or nesting sites * Selecting key contractors and workers who can successfully carry out the project * Overseeing construction sites and resolving problems during the building phase of a project * Keeping a construction project running on time and within budget Qualifications High attention to detail * Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative management style to include teamwork and team building ability * Comfortable with ambiguity and time spent outside of comfort zone acquiring new skills * Technically creative and open-minded * Bachelor’s or Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture from an accredited institution * 3+ years of architectural experience preferably within the hiring firm’s field * Understanding and knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, building construction, building systems and site requirements * Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office suite is required master’s degree in architecture from an accredited institution * 3+ years of architectural experience preferably within the hiring firm’s field * Understanding and knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, building construction, building systems and site requirements * Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office suite is required
