Job Description - Accounting Technician - Real Estate

A leading Irish property development and construction company is seeking a motivated Accounting Technician to join their growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior accounting technician or accounts assistant looking to build a long -term career within a well -established business offering strong progression opportunities.

Working closely with the finance team, you will gain exposure across all areas of the accounts function, supporting the day -to -day financial operations of multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities:

Process supplier invoices and support the accounts payable function.
Maintaining rent schedules for residential properties.
Prepare and maintain accurate bank and account reconciliations.
Weekly payroll operations.

Key Requirements:

1–2 years’ experience in an accounting or finance support role.
Strong understanding of accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Sage experience an advantage).
