Accounts Assistant

Location: Dublin, Ireland

Join our Finance team in Dublin as an Accounts Assistant and gain hands-on experience across accounting operations, reporting, compliance, and financial processes in a global business environment. In this role, you will support core accounting operations and contribute to maintaining accurate financial records, strong internal controls, and efficient month-end processes across the business. You will work closely with experienced finance professionals in an international environment, gaining exposure to financial reporting, reconciliations, audits, and compliance activities. Role & Responsibilities:

• Support General Ledger activities including journal postings, reconciliations, and month-end closing processes.

• Process bank transactions, employee expense reports, and maintain accurate financial documentation.

• Assist with fixed asset accounting, intercompany reconciliations, and preparation of management reporting schedules.

• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and assisting with SOX compliance activities.

• Provide administrative and reporting support across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and the wider Finance function.
  

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, ideally within a multinational or compliance-focused environment.

• Accounting Technician qualification or equivalent; a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is considered an advantage.

• Experience working with accounting systems such as Workday and strong Microsoft Excel skills (e.g. VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
