Our client is a growing business with diverse interests in the property sector. They are seeking to appoint an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their close knit Finance team. With a head office in Dublin 15, the role will operate on a hybrid basis of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will assist in the financial management, financial administration, and financial operation of the organisation.
Responsibilities: - Accounts Payable
- Posting purchase and sale invoices
- Managing POs and matching against invoices
- Posting payments and receipts
- Preparing payment runs
- Accounts Receivable
- Billing
- Preparation of bank reconciliations for a number of bank accounts
- Creditor reconciliations
- Dealing with queries
- Assisting in the preparation of management accounts and corporate administration
- Complete other tasks and administrative duties as requested
Ideal Candidate: - At least 3 years' exprience in a busy finance function
- Previous experience with property sector ideal
- Strong accounts payable / purchase ledger posting experience in a high volume environment
- Excellent communication skills – fully fluent written and spoken English essential
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to prioritise and to work to deadlines
- Organised and efficient with excellent attention to detail
