FRS Recruitment have a excellent opportunity for a Part Qualified Accountant or Accounts Assistant to join our client in Athenry, Co. Galway. This is a full time, permanent position. Our client will offer hybrid working following probation period.

Role Overview:
This role is ideal for a recent graduate (2-4 years out of third-level education) with strong IT and e-commerce skills and ideally from a farming background.
The successful candidate will be responsible for bookkeeping, financial administration, and ensuring the synchronization and automation of all key financial activities using our new software, Odoo.com.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including invoicing, credit notes, and supplier/customer balance sheets.
- Ensure accurate synchronization of financial data across all systems.
- Monitor customer credit insurance and manage credit limits.
- Automate and systematize financial processes to achieve 10x efficiency.
- Maintain up-to-date stock lists and ensure accurate stock management.
- Support the contracted Senior Financial Controller in financial reporting and compliance.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of financial systems and processes.
- Perform other general financial tasks and light administrative duties as required
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of post-graduate experience in a financial role.
- Strong proficiency in IT and e-commerce systems.
- Experience with Odoo.com or similar financial software is highly desirable.
- Understanding of farming practices and a background in agriculture is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ideally reside within a 30-minute commute from Athenry, Co. Galway.
