Job Description - Accounts Specialist

Our client is a sustainable infrastructure and energy solutions business, integrating commercial, financial, and technical expertise to deliver scalable, low-carbon projects. With a diversified portfolio spanning digital infrastructure, sustainable power solutions, and industrial decarbonisation.

They are seeking an experienced Accounts Specialist to join their team in Dublin.

Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including invoicing, accounts payable, VAT returns, and short-term cash forecasting.
Lead the preparation of internal management accounts and month-end close activities.
Drive the implementation and enhancement of financial systems and processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders, providing timely and accurate financial reporting and insights.

Requirements:

Part-qualified or qualified ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) with 3+ years’ relevant accounting experience.
Strong management accounting skills and the ability to work autonomously.
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills; experience with system implementation is an advantage.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work independently.
