Job Description - Advanced Specialist Pharmacist Clinical Trials




RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Home care and Community care.







We are hiring 
Advanced Specialist Pharmacist – Clinical Trials 
into our Hospital at Dublin, Ireland. 








 Responsibilities





  • To guarantee that medications are utilized in compliance with hospital policies, standard operating procedures, and applicable laws in a way that is appropriate, safe, and economical.



  • To offer patients taking part in clinical trials a safe, effective, and efficient pharmaceutical service in compliance with established local rules and procedures, as well as accepted professional and ethical standards and the requirements of Good Clinical Practice (GCP).



  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource in their field to counsel other pharmacists and medical professionals inside the company.



  • Give investigators guidance on medicine administration, interactions, formulation, and prescribing.



  • Update procedures and the file with the most recent protocols and paperwork to make sure that changes to the clinical trial involving the IMP and/or other medications are reflected in the pharmacy documentation.





  • To guarantee that, when necessary, a Pharmacy Clinical Trial costs agreement is created



  • To examine and evaluate cancer clinical trial protocols for the hospital's present and future resource needs and financial implications.



  • Take the lead and participate in audit and quality-improvement projects.



  • Encourage the application of evidence-based practice in your field of expertise and/or organization.



  • Work together with the interdisciplinary team to support research and its implementation in the organization's or specialty's field.









Requirements




  • Own a Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland registration.



  • Clinical pharmacy practice diploma or master's degree.



  • Additional credentials include a clinical pharmacy diploma or master's degree in business, risk management, managerial certification, etc.



  • Experience four years of hospital experience after registration, with at least two of those years having to be in the relevant specialty to show the necessary degree of specialist practice.



  • Outstanding practical understanding of pharmacy education and training issues, Overseeing, managing, and educating employees, Clinical Pharmacy Financial control, including medication consumption and usage financial reporting.
