Job Description - Anaesthetic (ICU) Registrar

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Home care and Community care.

We are hiring an Anaesthetic (ICU) Registrar for our Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.

Job type: Fixed Term / Full or Part-time

Responsibilities

To provide an Intensive Care service while acting as an assistant to the Daily Duty Intensivist/Anaesthetist and to work under their supervision.

Transfer patients from the previous shift's registrar to guarantee continuity of care, make decisions right away, and write orders.

Must regularly assess Critical Care Unit patients in compliance with the care plan established at the start of each shift and report any concerns or issues to the consultant.

Review results should be promptly and clearly documented in clinical notes.

To respond to crises as they arise or to release the consultant to respond to crises.

To react to any unfavorable incidents that affect patients, guests, or employees, such as accidents, falls, unexpected diseases, etc.

Requirements

Requires MRCP, MRCS, or equivalent.

Present Complete Registration with the Irish Medical Council.

Ideally, one should be a member of the College of Anaesthetists.

Two years or more of experience working as an anesthesiologist in an acute hospital.

Requires current ACLS certification.

Knowledge and Skills Particular to the Job.
