Job Description

As the Area HR Manager in H&M, you lead as a Strategic Business Partner to ensure the best colleague experience through implementing the people strategy. You attract, retain, develop, and engage top talents and secure competencies to fulfil current and future needs.

Some of the key responsibilities include: 

  • Lead with a vision -implement a clear and specific strategy to achieve all HR goals. 
  • Set expectations and follow up on all areas of the colleague lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training and development. 
  • Act as a neutral escalation point for People relations concerns and support store management together with your Area Manager to prevent and resolve those. 
  • Analyse data and have specific actions to improve engagement and decrease staff turnover and sickness in the Area. 
  • Set expectations and follow up on a quality development and succession process for all Colleagues in the area. 
  • Support and promote our values and employer branding initiatives. 
  • Ensure all stores are working in line with our People relations guidelines.
  • Work with the store Managers in your Area to ensure all HR KPI’s are worked toward and followed up.

  • Previous experience working in HR function as business partner, preferably in fashion retail industry 
  • Be Values driven and demonstrate strong leadership skills. 
  • Extensive experience & HR responsibilities with people & teams 
  • Strong understanding of People Relations and the legal requirements.
  • Have the drive and ambition to increase sales and profit through your Colleagues 
  • Communicate in an inspiring way with Colleagues at all levels of the business 
  • Possess a good knowledge of the HR policies and procedures 
  • For internal colleagues - we ask you to have experience as a Store Manager, or in an Area team/SO/Logistics leadership role. 

    Additional Information

    This position is a 12 month Contract, offered on a local contract and based in our Area Office in Dublin IE .
