Job Description - Assistant Director of Nursing

RecruitNet International Ltd is hiring an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for a Nursing Home in Co Sligo, Ireland.
       
 Responsibilities



  • Ensuring constant reading, comprehension, and application of the home policies and anticipated clinical standards.



  • Completing ward rounds, including those with a general practitioner, to guarantee ongoing attainment of the optimum clinical results.



  • Examining nursing records to make sure they accurately represent the care and attention each resident needs, as well as ensuring assessments and care plans are finished on schedule and revised as needed.



  • Assisting the CNMs in the assisted living facility and offering guidance, mentoring, and consistent communication.



  • Maintaining a noticeable presence in the clinical areas and making sure that a lot of emphasis is focused on collaborating with the CNMs, staff nurses, and residential carers.



  • Provide constructive criticism and keep an eye on practice in respect to care procedures. Create a dynamic team













Requirements




  • Initial registration level



  • Registered in the relevant Irish Live Register section.



  • Proof of ongoing professional development



  • Prior experience in management
