Job Description - Assistant Director of Nursing

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Home care and Community care.

We are Hiring an Assistant Director Of Nursing for a leading hospital in Co Laois, Ireland.

Responsibilities

Carrying out internal checks and monitoring their findings

Employee orientation, continuing education, and development, as well as promotion of creative practice

Making sure that company and HIQA standards, procedures, and guidelines are followed

Arranging frequent meetings for discussion with all clinical personnel

Build a strong relationship with outside community organisations. integrating the neighbourhood into the home and making it easier for inhabitants to go to events and activities there

Communicate with marketing to take advantage of chances and guarantee that the home is well-known in the neighbourhood.

Put the company's health and safety policy into practice to protect residents, employees, and others.

Put frequent evacuation and fire safety training plans into action.

Make sure the house is kept as clean and hygienic as possible.

Requirements

A qualified nurse who has managed an elderly patient for at least three of the previous six years

Obtain a post-registration management credential in medicine or a similar discipline.

Demonstrated success in clinical management in healthcare

Outstanding organisational, communication, and leadership abilities

Good decision-making skills and a focus on outcomes

Capacity to collaborate effectively and foster a team atmosphere

Flexibility is the ability to adjust to the demands of the business
