Job Description - Assistant Director of Nursing

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Home care and Community care.

We are hiring Assistant Director Of Nursing Posts for a hospital located in Cork, Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure the maintenance of patient safety at all times.

Maintenance of effective throughput of patients within the service.

Ensuring that workloads are arranged in a manner that maximises the use of resources.

Analysing, monitoring and forecasting trends relevant to the service

Direct and active participation in service planning, implementation and evaluation in overall resource management of the service, including continuous quality audit and performance measurements

Ensuring the application of best practice including the generation of action plans to continuously improve the provision of services.

Requirements

Getting registered with the Irish Nursing and Midwifery Board

Ten years or more of post-qualification experience in an acute healthcare environment.

It is necessary to have prior people management experience.

Strong dedication to quality and patient safety

Strong business sense with an emphasis on producing outcomes that work.

Self-driven and dedicated to providing an effective, efficient, compassionate, and patient-centered nursing service

Demonstrated capacity to drive and oversee change efforts and to successfully lead and complete projects.
