The Role

The Store Manager will be responsible for the full day-to-day running of a large, multi-level retail store. This includes leading the team, driving sales, delivering a high standard of customer service, and ensuring smooth operations across all areas of the store.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manage to manage and lead a team of approximately 20 staff
  




• Deliver excellent customer service throughout the store
  




• Drive store sales and meet performance targets
  




• Oversee stock control, deliveries, and floor merchandising
  




• Manage store operations including cash handling, staffing rotas, and compliance
  




• Support community engagement through in-store events and local outreach
  




• Report to Head Office and ensure policies and procedures are followed
  

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in a retail management role
  




• Strong leadership and team development skills
  




• Customer-focused with strong communication skills
  




• Well-organised and capable of managing multiple priorities
  




• Comfortable working with KPIs, rotas, and budgets
  




• A background or interest in books, gifting, or lifestyle retail is beneficial
  




• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings
