Job Description - Associate, Audit Team

Assist in audit preparation through research, file creation and documenting minutes of planned meetings
Follow audit practices and procedures
Prepare audit workpapers and documentation in support of the audit report
Assist in the preparation and delivery of audit reports which are shared with Management and the Audit Committee
Conduct process interviews, document narratives, analyse process controls and perform testing of key controls
Participate on client calls

Related Honours degree
Excellent communication skills
Ability to plan, prioritise between tasks and adhere to strict time deadlines
Ability to work on own initiative
Some industry experience in an accounting role would be an advantage
Academic knowledge of IFRS and GAAP accounting principles would be an advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
A keen interest in learning and in career progression

A willingness to learn and asking questions
Committed to work in a collaborative, client focused team environment
Ethics and integrity when dealing with clients and colleagues
Highly motivated to perform, develop and work hard
Curiosity to understand our clients and our industry
