Job Description - Associate Manager Process Development
* Manage and support a team of engineers and early-career professionals within the electrical test process development function. Set short-term priorities, allocate resources, and ensure team alignment with project objectives. Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to team members. Hons bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline) or equivalent experience. 6+ years of experience in a regulated industry in test system development, ideally with a mix of hardware and software engineering. Prior people-leadership experience, such as direct supervision, team coordination, or leading engineers/technicians in project or functional settings. Proven track record in leading system development and successful integration of test platforms into production. Proven ability to manage teams and coordinate complex projects. Strong knowledge of automated test equipment design, validation, and sustaining processes. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate and address technical challenges. Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience presenting to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated leadership in mentoring, technical reviews, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and external partners. General Profile: Provides management and operational oversight for support and/or professional staff; sets priorities and coordinates work to meet objectives. Responsible for end results of the team and provides input on planning, guidelines, and processes. Requires in-depth understanding and application of concepts, procedures, and practices within electrical test process development. Applies broad experience to diverse situations, including design, validation, and sustaining of automated test equipment. Applies business practices and methods to ensure team integration with related functions and alignment with organisational goals. Manages support and early-career professionals, coordinates resources, and implements functional, technical, and process improvements that impact team performance. Ensure accurate and comprehensive process documentation, including test specifications, validation protocols, and standard operating procedures. Implement functional, technical, and process improvements that enhance efficiency and reliability. * Act as a key liaison between engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth integration of NPD projects. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners to align objectives and resolve issues. Provide input on resource planning, guidelines, and process development strategies.
