We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Banqueting Department as a Banqueting Supervisor. This role requires a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences and leading a team with care, energy, and integrity. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, support and develop team members, and uphold the highest standards of service, cleanliness, and efficiency—while embracing our values: Care, Always Getting Better, Doing the Right Thing, and Energy and Drive.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership – Leading with Care and Drive
Supervise and inspire the banqueting team to deliver exceptional service with energy and enthusiasm.
Lead by example, showing care and respect for team members and guests alike.
Provide regular coaching and support, encouraging continuous improvement and professional growth.
Service Excellence – Doing the Right Thing, Every Time
Monitor service quality and guest satisfaction to ensure a consistently exceptional experience.
Address and resolve guest concerns professionally, promptly, and ethically, always aiming to exceed expectations.
Demonstrate a commitment to doing the right thing, even when no one is watching.
Operations Management – Focused on Efficiency and Progress
Work alongside the Conference & Banqueting Manager to implement and refine standard operating procedures.
Ensure all activities are compliant with health, safety, hygiene, and food handling standards.
Identify areas for improvement, showing a mindset of Always Getting Better.
Team Training and Development – Growing Together
Assist in delivering training sessions focused on service standards, product knowledge, and role-specific skills.
Encourage and support team development, recognising individual strengths and growth opportunities.
Foster a workplace culture where feedback is welcomed, learning is continuous, and teamwork thrives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality role is preferred but not required.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A passion for providing outstanding customer service.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (training provided).
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and late nights as required.
