Reports To: Bar Manager

Location: Crown Quarter, Wexford Town, Co. Wexford.

Job Purpose:

Crown Quarter is seeking a hardworking and reliable Bar Back to support our bartenders and ensure smooth operations in our fast-paced late-night venue. The ideal candidate will be energetic, organised, and thrive in a high-volume nightlife setting. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in the bar industry and work in a dynamic, social environment. This role involves late night hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist bartenders by restocking spirits, beer, wine, and mixers throughout the shift.


• Ensure all bar stations are fully stocked with glassware, garnishes, and other essential supplies.


• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down counters, disposing of trash, and organising storage areas.


• Help prepare garnishes, refill ice bins, and support general bar prep.


• Retrieve and restock kegs, bottles, and other beverages as needed.


• Assist in keeping the venue tidy by collecting empty glasses and clearing tables.


• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including responsible alcohol service guidelines.


• Work closely with bartenders, floor staff, and management to ensure smooth service.

Requirements:

• Ability to work late-night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.


• Strong teamwork and communication skills.


• Ability to lift heavy items such as kegs and cases of drinks.


• High energy and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
