Job Description - Basic Grade Cardiac Physiologist

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Home care and Community care.

We are Hiring Basic Grade Cardiac Physiologist to our Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.

Responsibilities

The methods and variety of tools utilized in modern medicine for patient diagnosis, care, and therapy should be known to the cardiac physiologist.

In accordance with departmental and hospital policy and procedure, performs electrocardiograms, Holter monitoring, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, event monitoring, exercise stress testing, tilt table testing, pacemaker and ICD follow-up and programming, and echocardiography.

Performs all invasive cardiac diagnostic tests, such as FFR/iFR, pacemaker and ICD implants, right heart catheterization, angiography, and angioplasty.

Possesses grade-appropriate understanding of cardiac diagnostic methods.

Requirements

Hold a Level 8 equivalent scientific qualification that has been validated by the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurements Physiology (IICMP).

Have worked in a cardiac department for at least a year after receiving their degree.

Have access to Advanced Life Support.

Strong general understanding of cardiology.

The capacity to use evidence-based practice and use research in clinical settings.

Strong time-management and organizing abilities.

Proactive strategy for service enhancements and quality assurance.
