We are hiring a
Basic Grade Medical Scientist - Biochemistry
for a leading Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.

Responsibilities

Help with the creation, upkeep, and enforcement of protocols about every section of the lab and the associated testing apparatus.

As decided by the laboratory manager and chief medical scientist, conduct scientific activity in accordance with the necessary JCI Accreditation Standards.

Achieve compliance with INAB Accreditation standards and the E.U. Directive on Blood/Blood Products, if working in an INAB accredited laboratory discipline.

As needed, take part in the laboratory team's training. Be a committed, professional, and on-time team player in the lab that encourages candid communication.

Requirements

Possess membership or be eligible for membership of the Academy of Medical Laboratory Science (AMLS) or equivalent.

Registration with CORU

Minimum of 1 year in service training across all disciplines.

Experience in Biochemistry is essential.

Post qualification experience desirable.

Have partaken in emergency on-call rotas.
