Job Description - Basic Grade Occupational Therapist

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Home care and Community care.

RecruitNet International Ltd is hiring a Basic Grade Occupational Therapist for a Hospital in Co Dublin, Ireland.

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Hours of Work: 37 hours weekly, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

Achieve goals in accordance with regional and national standards while making sure the best possible clinical care in occupational therapy is planned and provided.

Professional standards are followed in the assessment, diagnosis, planning, execution, and evaluation of treatment and intervention programs for patients and residents.

Goal-setting and treatment/intervention planning are done in cooperation with residents, family, caregivers, and other staff members.

Take part in the healthcare and multidisciplinary team and collaborate and cooperate with other team members.

Keep thorough clinical notes of all resident-related evaluations, interventions, and conversations.

Assure effective and efficient services within a specified budgetary framework while providing occupational therapy services in a framework that complies with the law.

Participate actively in the Clinical Governance Committee and help create and carry out operational and strategic plans.

Requirements

Possess an occupational therapy degree or a comparable credential and be qualified to join the AOTI.

Be listed on the CORU Occupational Therapists Registration Board's Occupational Therapists Register.

Possess a thorough awareness of the laws about health, safety, and other matters that impact healthcare organizations.

Be a motivated team player with outstanding people abilities.

Show off your adept IT abilities.

Be accountable in your behavior and considerate of patients and residents.

Possess self-assurance, enthusiasm, and persuasiveness, as well as the capacity to influence and bargain.
