BIM Coordinator

Role Purpose:

They are currently seeking a skilled BIM Coordinator to join our dynamic team, working on complex construction-related projects. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, effectively resolving issues while working closely with all stakeholders. This position is based in Dublin.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilise Building Information Modelling (BIM) software to create collaborative 3D models and related drawings.
• Collaborate with the BIM Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer, and Project Supervisor.
• Input model elements with the necessary detail (both graphic and data).
• Monitor for clashes and generate weekly clash reports.
• Coordinate and oversee incoming/shared models.
• Produce images and drawings as required by the Project Manager.
• Engage in BIM modelling and creation using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Coordinate mechanical and electrical elements and manage asset data.
• Generate as-built drawings and models.
• Develop Asset Information Models.
• Deliver BIM on both live and tender projects.
• Create AutoCAD mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Produce images for reports using BIM renders.
• Adhere to the company’s current Safety Statement and Quality Health and Safety management system, including all related policies and procedures.
• Experience with point cloud data is advantageous.

Role Requirements:

• A Mechanical or Electrical trade background is an advantage.
• Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and MS Office.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in BIM/Revit/Navisworks is required.
• Experience in M&E services coordination is essential.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a multi-functional team is crucial.
