Role Summary:

The Breakfast Manager is responsible for the daily operation and management of the breakfast service at The Moorings Restaurant. This role requires a dynamic and hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will lead by example, create a culture of warmth and energy, and uphold our core values of Care, Doing the Right Thing, Always Getting Better, and Energy & Drive.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the breakfast operation to ensure a smooth, high-quality service.


• Lead, motivate, and support the breakfast team to deliver outstanding guest experiences.


• Ensure all guests are warmly welcomed and consistently receive attentive and courteous service.


• Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to maintain food quality and timely service.


• Maintain a clean, organised, and well-presented dining environment.


• Manage stock levels, ordering, and inventory for breakfast-related supplies.


• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond effectively to feedback or concerns.


• Train and develop team members to promote growth and continuous improvement.


• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, hygiene, and company standards.


• Support the wider food and beverage department when required.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a hospitality or restaurant environment.


• A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest service.


• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.


• Ability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays.


• Organised, reliable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting.


• Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant operations is an advantage.


• A relevant qualification in hospitality management or similar is desirable.
