Job Description - Business Development Representative

Role Overview


We are hiring a Business Development Representative to help us generate pipeline into some of the most complex, high value organisations in the world. This is an onsite role in our Cork office, designed for someone who wants to develop enterprise prospecting skills fast, with structured coaching and a team that takes standards seriously.  
 
Our buyers are senior and our deal cycles are complex, so quality outbound matters. You will own your outbound motion, partner tightly with Account Executives, and develop the kind of enterprise prospecting skills that translate into a long-term sales career. 





Responsibilities


  • Own outbound pipeline generation into large,billion dollar revenue companies, primarily in manufacturing,logistics, and adjacent industries. 

  • Build and execute smart, considerate prospecting campaigns to senior decision makers within target accounts, tailored to specific stakeholders and priorities. 

  • Run a true multichannel approach, using LinkedIn, email, video, phone, and other creative touches to earn attention and book qualified meetings. 

  • Partner closely with Account Executives to map accounts,identify the right entry points, and align on a plan to break into complex buying groups. 

  • Handle objections with confidence and professionalism, while keeping momentum and moving prospects toward a clear next step. 

  • Use feedback and performance data to continually improve messaging, talk tracks, and prospecting approach.




Your profile


  • Persistent and resilient: You can handle rejection, stay consistent, and keep pushing quality activity day after day. 

  • Proactive and adaptable, with a competitive edge: You take ownership and pride in your work, and enjoy working toward clear targets

  • Strong written and verbal communication: You can write crisp outreach, speak confidently with senior stakeholders, and you are comfortable picking up the phone. 

  • Degree preferred: Ideally educated to degree level, or equivalent experience that shows strong discipline and learning ability. 

  • Languages: Professional English ; Spanish, French, or German is a plus but not .
