As we prepare for the festive season, we are seeking a dedicated and personable Cheesemonger to join our busy cheese and charcuterie counter team in our Foodhall during Christmas time.

Please note that this is a short term role until the end of December 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

• To serve cheese customers with expert knowledge of the products and how they should be cut, stored and used.


• Maintaining the pre-pack area so that it is optimally stocked and that dates are effectively rotated.


• Ensuring the C&C counter is exceptionally clean and always HACCP compliant.


• To work with colleagues to oversee a seamless service for each customer from the beginning to the end of their visit.


• Ensure customer service and food standards are in line with company standards.


• To work harmoniously with the cheese counter team and the wider food hall team and management.


• To provide feedback to the Foodhall manager and Fresh Food Supervisor about customer requests.


• As well as other duties which may be assigned from time to time.

The Person

• 1 years’ experience in a similar role desirable


• 1 year working in similar retail setting is desirable


• Knowledge of Irish and international farmhouse cheese


• A food and wine lover, with a particular passion for cheese & charcuterie!


• Understands food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP certification is a bonus)


• Outgoing, cheerful, friendly personality


• A passion for great customer service


• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
