Job Description - Chef

RecruitNet International Ltd specializes in relocating qualified professionals throughout Ireland and overseas, we guide you through professional registration, job placement, visa, and employment permit processing.

We are hiring a Full time Chef for Daytime Hours and Rewarding Work for our Nursing Home in Mayo

Responsibilities

Create and implement a diversified menu that satisfies our residents' varying dietary requirements and preferences while making sure every meal is wholesome and enjoyable.

Oversee and guide kitchen employees while cultivating a respectful and cooperative atmosphere.

Handle food supplies with care, striking a balance between effective inventory control and quality.

Respect all hygienic guidelines and maintain the highest standards of kitchen safety and cleanliness.

Collaborate with our medical staff to customize meals to meet particular dietary needs so that each person may eat in a secure and fulfilling environment.

Keep up with changes in senior care nutrition and dietary requirements by consistently innovating and modifying our meal options.

Requirements

Demonstrated culinary skills, preferably in a medical facility or assisted living facility.

A thorough awareness of dietary limitations and specialty diets, such as low-sodium, pureed, or diabetic meals.

Strong teamwork, communication, and organizing skills.

A sincere wish to improve the quality of life for our senior citizens.

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
