Job Description - Chef de partie

We are currently searching for a highly-motivated and experienced Chef de Partie to join our esteemed culinary team at Portmarnock Resort & Jameson Links. This position is pivotal in supporting the daily kitchen activities and in preparing exquisite dishes to meet the expectations of our valued guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes within the specialty section.
  • Prioritizing and controlling tasks to ensure smooth and timely operations of the kitchen.
  • Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation within the kitchen, adhering to all company policies and relevant health and safety guidelines.
  • Collaborating with the culinary team to ensure efficient kitchen operations and help maintain a positive, cooperative work environment.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably as a Chef de Partie in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant.
  • Culinary arts diploma or equivalent professional culinary certificate is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge and passion for culinary arts, food presentations, and quality standards.
  • Proficient in using various cooking techniques and ingredients, with an understanding of international and local cuisines.
  • Ability to manage high-volume service calmly and effectively, meeting deadlines and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a keen attention to detail.
