Job Description - Chief 1 / Senior Vascular Physiologist

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Home care and Community care.

We are hiring a Chief Vascular Physiologist for our Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

The Vascular Physiologist must possess a comprehensive understanding of the various techniques and wide array of equipment employed in contemporary medical practice. This knowledge is essential for effectively diagnosing, treating, and providing optimal care to patients.

This position reports directly to the Chief II Vascular Physiologist and is responsible for developing, planning, organizing, and implementing the service

Ensuring the maintenance of clinical standards and patient care is paramount.

Assume responsibility for overseeing the orientation and training requirements of the personnel within the department.

The individual promptly reports any malfunctions as they occur, according to the hospital's policy.

Requirements

BSc in Clinical Measurement or Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (Dublin Institute of Technology, Kevin Street, Dublin) or equivalent.

Have not less than five years post-qualification experience in a Vascular Department.

High-level expertise is required in cardiac pacing, echocardiography, stress testing, EP and cardiac ablation, and cardiac catheterisation laboratory.

Possess Advanced Life Support.

Good general knowledge of Vascular.
