Job Description - Chief Operating Officer - PCF 42

Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our leadership team. The COO will be primarily responsible for driving process improvement and overseeing product development. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in fintech operations, process optimization, and product lifecycle management. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of fintech products, and a proven track record in operational excellence. Job Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the continuous improvement of operational processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  2. Implement best practices and standardized procedures to streamline operations and reduce costs.
  3. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and optimize operational performance.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve process bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
  5. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across the organization.
  6. Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond.
  7. Work closely with the Product Management and Engineering teams to ensure timely and successful product releases.
  8. Drive the development and implementation of new fintech products and features that align with the company’s strategic goals.
  9. Ensure that products meet high standards of quality, security, and user experience.
  10. Monitor market trends and customer feedback to inform product development and enhancements.
  11. Collaborate with the CEO and other executive team members to define and execute the company’s operational and product related vision and growth plans.
  12. Provide leadership and direction to the operations and product development teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
  13. Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of professionals in operations and product development.
  14. Establish clear goals, roles, and responsibilities within the team, ensuring accountability and performance.
  15. Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in operational management and product development within the fintech or financial services industry.
  3. Sigma black belt will a preferred.
  4. Proven track record of driving process improvements and leading successful product development initiatives.
  5. Strong understanding of fintech products, technologies, and market dynamics.
  6. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  7. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  8. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
