Facilities Technician - CHQ Group

CHQ Ltd is seeking a motivated and hands-on Facilities Technician to support the day-to-day operation of The chq Building and its tenants.

This role is ideal for someone with a practical mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and experience working with tools in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily facilities operations including general building maintenance, management of facilities stores and stock and assist with furniture and equipment logistics.


• Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety procedures.


• Proactively identify tasks and opportunities to support the team when immediate duties are complete.


• Provide administrative support including purchase order requests, early/late opening requests, ticket management and extra cleaning requests.


• Attend team meetings and contribute to cross-departmental coordination.


• Assist with monitoring progress of food hall building works and report updates to the Facilities Manager.


• Maintain food hall units once live including kitchen equipment upkeep, responding to power outages, addressing drain blockages, and supporting PPM delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong all-round skill set and practical mindset with ability to use tools for repairs and maintenance tasks.


• Willingness to undertake training (e.g., working at heights, hoist operations).


• 3+ years relevant experience preferred.


• Good computer literacy (Microsoft Office essential) and communication skills and fluency in English.


• Punctual, reliable, and flexible—ability to work evenings and weekends as required.


• Basic understanding of fire protection systems, mechanical and electrical systems, and AV systems.
