Job Description - Clinical Nurse Manager(Night shift)




RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Home care and Community care.







We the RecruitNet team are hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager(Shift) for a leading Care Centre in cork, Ireland.







Responsibilities








  • Oversee and carry out change, paying special attention to HIQA standards.



  • Demonstrate initiative, leadership, and inventiveness by working with residents and staff.



  • Conduct daily spot checks for all check lists used by nursing and care assistant staff (e.g., shower/linen, restraint release, falls mats/falls beam, equipment and other check lists as needed) and oversee the audit of all nursing care components, such as medication management and errors.



  • Accept, manage, and keep an eye on the new inhabitants' arrival



  • In accordance with the resident's wishes, assess, plan, carry out, and assess the care required to meet their physical, psychological, social, and spiritual requirements.




  • Contribute significantly to keeping residents, employees, and guests safe.



  • Participate actively in the daily resident handover, making sure that all staff members who are responsible for the residents maintain excellent contact. Organise the shift, making sure that the nursing and care professionals are assigned the appropriate tasks.














Requirements










  • At least five years of nursing experience, including abroad, and at least two years in an Irish nursing home



  • Experience with SSNs or CNMs is preferred, but it's not required because this position may be learnt.



  • Strong command of easily understood English and a passion for a specific nursing speciality demonstrated by courses taken, such as dementia, infection control, or gerontology



  • This position requires prior nursing home work experience.
