Clinical Nurse Specialist—Oncology(CNMII Grade)

We are Hiring a Clinical Nurse Specialist \- Oncology (CNMII Grade) for our Hospital client in Dublin.

(Full Time \- Permanent Contract \- 37.5 hrs)

 Responsibilities 

• Assessing, diagnosing, and managing the symptoms and side effects associated with cancer treatment
  

• Providing comprehensive care to patients undergoing chemotherapy, radiation, or other cancer treatments
  

• Educating patients and families about the disease process, treatment options, and possible side effects
  

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to devise individualized care plans for patients
  

• Conducting research to improve patient outcomes and advance the field of oncology nursing
  

• Providing consultation to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals about complex patient care issues
  

• Ensuring that cancer care is delivered in a safe and effective manner, in accordance with established clinical protocols and standards
  

• Advocating for the needs of cancer patients and their families, providing emotional support and counseling services
  
  

Requirements

Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) (essential)

Postgraduate Diploma or equivalent qualification in Oncology Nursing (essential)

Master’s degree (MSc) in Oncology Nursing (desirable)

Minimum of three years’ experience in the specialist area of medical oncology (essential)

Demonstrated clinical competence and professional capability in oncology nursing practice

Strong IT skills with proficiency in relevant clinical and administrative applications

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and use own initiative

Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to engage positively with patients, families, and staff

Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering high\-quality patient care

Proven ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic clinical environment

Evidence of ongoing commitment to continuing professional development (CPD)

Ability to communicate and work effectively with staff at all levels within the organisation
