We are currently recruiting
Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist- Pelvic Health for a reputable hospital in Dublin, Ireland.

Key Responsibilities




  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with pelvic health conditions using evidence-based practice.



  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans.



  • Provide specialist physiotherapy services for patients with pelvic floor dysfunction, continence issues, pregnancy and postnatal conditions, and pelvic pain.



  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including consultants, nurses, midwives, and other allied health professionals.



  • Educate and support patients and their families on pelvic health conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies.



  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records in line with professional and hospital standards.



  • Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and service development projects.



  • Supervise, mentor, and support junior physiotherapists, physiotherapy assistants, and students.



  • Contribute to departmental education, research, and evidence-based practice initiatives.



  • Ensure compliance with CORU standards, hospital policies, infection prevention, and health and safety regulations.








Requirements




  • BSc in Physiotherapy or an equivalent qualification.



  • CORU registration and membership of, or eligibility for membership with, the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP).



  • Minimum of 5 years’ full-time clinical experience in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy.



  • Proven clinical expertise in pelvic health physiotherapy.



  • Advanced knowledge of the assessment and physiotherapy management of oncology, urology, gynaecology, and colorectal pelvic health conditions.



  • Demonstrated experience in clinical audit, quality improvement initiatives, practice development, teaching, and research.



  • Ability to work collaboratively with the Physiotherapy Manager to coordinate, develop, and deliver high-quality, patient-centred physiotherapy services.



  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with patients, families, carers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.



  • Ability to plan and deliver care efficiently within a person-centred model of care.



  • Commitment to continuous professional development (CPD).



  • Ability to develop, implement, and maintain physiotherapy guidelines, protocols, and best practice standards.
