Job Description

Turner & Townsend is currently recruiting for a Cost Manager - Commercial within our Real Estate team to work with a variety of clients and across a number of iconic projects in the Dublin area.  

We’re looking for individuals possessing a keen interest in this space with a good knowledge of construction, whether from a Main Contracting or consulting background; who possess an outgoing/collaborative approach, to help guide the contractor and client through the process on a number of iconic projects. This role will focus heavily on the Commercial Office Fit-out Sector as well Industrial, Life Sciences and Retail.  

Qualifications

  • A proven track record of delivering high quality cost management / quantity surveying services across the full project lifecycle 

  • Prior experience in Commercial Fit-out projects  (Preferred) 

  • Professionally qualified (SCSI, RICS or similar) 

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3 years + of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.  

  •  Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.  

  •  Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.  

  •  In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.  

  •  Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.  

  •  Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculation
