Job Description - Customer Care Foreperson

The Customer Care Foreperson is responsible for attending various sites and carrying out works set out by customer care team.

Key responsibilities and duties

  • Ensure daywork sheets are completed with each customer on each day and signed off and send back to relevant customer care person
  • Assisting construction teams from time to time if required to assist with homes needing to close and resource required
  • Updating the team on any issues unable to do or if need further information
  • Drylining, Decoration, Sealant, Mastic, Leak remedial works, Investigating issues before we assign to relevant contractor, Carpentry, Flooring, Mechanical (some elements)
  • Liaise and communicate closely with the different stakeholders
  • Provide key point of contact for purchasers
  • Coordinate work from long term call backs
  • Effective planning of tasks and efficiently organising resources in order to meet deadlines
  • Ensure works are carried out in compliance with building regulations, health and safety and environmental standards and to a high quality
  • Report weekly and monthly data and information to site teams, key stakeholders and partners
  • Maintain a professional image for the company in all dealings with public and stakeholders
  • Other ad hoc duties that the Company may require from time to time


Requirements
  • Degree / Higher Diploma qualification in Construction Management and/ or equivalent trade qualification desirable
  • Significant experience in a similar position
  • Excellent knowledge of trades, and in particular carpentry
  • Background in residential construction
  • Excellent working knowledge of latest building regulation and certification standards
  • An ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets
