Job Description - Customer Service Specialist

Role: Customer Service Specialist, AIB Private Banking, Dublin 2

 

Location: Dawson Street, Dublin 2/Hybrid

 

 

This role is being offered on a permanent, full time basis.

About the Role:

AIB Private Banking is an important segment of Business Banking, a division of AIB Capital Markets. AIB Private Banking provides a bespoke wealth management, lending & banking offering for High Net Worth individuals.

The role advertised is for the newly setup Client Engagement Team in Private Banking who assist in supporting the Relationship Managers with onboarding new clients along with other administrative tasks. This is a Hybrid role and the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Client Engagement Team, as well as the wider Private Banking team in delivering upon our business and customer objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Support the delivery of account opening and mandate processing activities in a customer focused manner, with frequent direct engagement with Private Banking customers.
  • Deal efficiently, professionally and accurately with all customer requests & queries / assigned activities to deliver exceptional customer service and experience.
  • Works collaboratively with Relationship Managers in Private Banking and other AIB internal stakeholders to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Completion of high quality outputs within agreed timeframes.
  • Enhancing the Customer Experience and make significant progress towards becoming the Best Banking Experience for customers.
  • Consistently demonstrates Private Banking’s service standards.
  • Knowledge of operational and regulatory risk. Ensuring compliance with internal policy, external regulators and adherence to industry best practice.
  • Assist with other ad-hoc tasks/projects for the Client Engagement Team.

 

 

What you will bring:

 

  • Ability to deal professionally and accurately with all customer requests & queries/assigned tasks to deliver exceptional customer service and experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Relationship Managers in Private Banking and other AIB internal stakeholders to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Strong planning and prioritisation skills, particularly under pressure to meet team objectives/tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills & works well in a team environment.
  • The successful candidate should be APA’d in Savings and Investments and working towards completing their QFA accreditation within agreed period if not already held.
