Role Description:

· As a Data Manager, you will play a key role inbuilding our animal data models, working closely with R&D leads and teamsto explore the data our products upload to our data platform. You will innovatenew data features and work with data scientists to create innovative farm andanimal KPIs promoting animal health and wellbeing. You will be responsible fordata quality and integrity, ensuring our data is up-to-date and of high value.

· The Data Manager will report to the Animal Data& governance lead within our Animal Health Data Labs organization.

Requirements

Role Functions:

(Functions include, but are not limited to, thefollowing)

Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement data models revolvingaround animals.

· Define and enforce data standards, namingconventions, and classification schemes.

· Collaborate with marketing, veterinaryprofessionals, researchers, data engineers, and data management teams toidentify data-related requirements and ensure alignment with animal healthobjectives.

· Monitor data quality and proactively identifyand resolve data issues or anomalies in animal health records and datasets.

· Conduct data profiling, analysis, and validationto ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of animal health data.

· Establish data documentation and metadatamanagement processes for animal health records, diagnostic, and research data.

· Provide guidance and support to veterinaryprofessionals and researchers on data governance best practices and standardsin the context of animal health.

Experience, Knowledge & Skills

Requirements:

· 5-8 years of proven hands-on experience workingas a Data Steward, Data Manager, or similar role.

· Proficiency in data quality, cataloguing, modelling,analysis, and metadata management.

· Experience with data management tools andtechnologies, such as Collibra, Immuta, and Data Bricks

· Experience harvesting data from ERP and CRMsystems such as SAP and Salesforce.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills,with an ability to interpret and analyse veterinary records and diagnosticdata.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills tocollaborate with stakeholders.

· Ability to work independently and effectivelyprioritize tasks in dynamic environments.

Advantage:

· Experience in Data Science or a related field.

· Strong knowledge of veterinary medicine andanimal health data management principles.

· Experience working for multi-national companies.

Qualifications & Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in information systemsmanagement or a related field
